Now in stock ready to ship!  Takamine celebrating its 60th Anniversary with a limited edition guitar!  Introducing The 60th Anniversary guitar!  There are 60 of these guitars worldwide and 16 will be distributed here in US, Studio Gears will be allocated with 2 of these.  This is their diamond year and it is reflected on the fretboard with a diamond-shaped inlay and on the headstock with a genuine diamond inlay right on top of the "i" (Sorry, we don't know the size and spec. of the diamond, unfortunately).  The top, side, and back of the body will be solid highly figured Hawaiian Koa featuring an early Takamine design that adapted a classical body to an x-braced concert steel string, with the addition of a distinctive cutaway and a completely unique three-piece bracing made of ebony sandwiched with spruce allows the koa top to offer the perfect combination of lightweight, rigidity, and resonance

This Takamine The 60th-anniversary guitar also comes with a new version of their famous "Brownie" CTF-2N preamplifier with the warm, dynamic sound of Takamine's early FET preamp model, which offers 2-band EQ as well as a chromatic tuner and a notch filter

To top it off, Takamine will include a specially designed hard case and a commemorative 60th-anniversary key fob.
